Closure of Churches in Northern Ireland.

Published on November 21, 2020

Most people are familiar by now  of the above announcement.. It  means for us that there will be no public masses  in churches  from Friday 27th  November until Friday 11th of December .

Exceptions to this are funeral and weddings with a limit of 25 people. There is no directive at the moment on Baptisms or private prayer. As soon as there is clarification we will publish what the ruling is going to be.

Masses this weekend will be as usual : Vigil Sat @ 6.30pm, Sunday 8.30 and 11.30 am.

Weekday masses Monday, Tuesday and Thursday  @ 9.30 am as usual.

On Saturday /Sunday 28/29 November and Saturday /Sunday5/6 December  mass via webcam; Saturdays @6.30 pm and Sunday mornings @ 10.00 am.

Weekday mass from next Friday 27th onwards until 11th December will also be on webcam @9.30 each weekday..

We trust that this lockdown for two weeks will be sufficient. Everyone needs to play their part in helping to slow down the spread of the Virus.  We help those who are overstressed in our hospitals. We are in solidarity with those who are suffering and with families who have been

Bereaved.  Hopefully our efforts will make it a  better Christmas celebration for everyone.
